summer!

So glad summer is finally here.  Last week as I walked around the island enjoying all the signs of summer and the lovely front porches, I started to get so excited to have our whole crew out here again this year!  Only a few weeks away!  Last summer we had two new babies and this summer we have a new baby and a bride-to-be joining our clan.  I feel so very blessed.

Can't wait!

Well, its too hot for an outdoor picnic around here these days, so set up a lovely indoor one instead!  An indigo table cloth as your "picnic blanket" backdrop, lemonade and individual silverware holders with bamboo silverware!  The perks of a picnic, but with air conditioning!

what a month...

and then some.

Is it really June already?

The month of May was an absolute whirlwind.  Between buying trips and visiting California, meeting our newest (19th!) grandbaby in Chicago, going to Dallas for the graduation of our 5th child and to meet his new fiance (!) and all the rest of day to day life, it seems to have passed me by in a blur.  

Now, I am back and ready to regroup.
